Bath and Body Works

It is a known fact. Girls love Bath and Body Works. And why shouldn’t we? They have great smells and over half of them have shea in them for our skin to have the softest touch. They have lotions, bubble bath, scrubs, hand sanitizers, and more! Their Christmas scents are my favorite! However, one scent that I have fallen in love with over and over again is Wild Berry Tulips. It is one of their signature scents so it is only there for a short period of time! It is a clean, yet fruity scent. I put it on right after I get out of the shower on my fresh shaven legs!

Head Bang

Being a waitress, I like to wear head bands. I am not really sure bout what the correlation is between headbands and being a waitress is but none the less, I like them! My mom gave this beautiful headband last weekend! It has golds, blues, browns, and maroons in it. I truly love this headband and it is great for any occasion. You should not wash your hair everyday, so if you feel like it looks greasy then a headband and it is great for any occasion. You should not wash your hair everyday, so it you feel like it looks greasy then a headband is your perfect solution! You can get headbands nearly anywhere. My favorite places to look are Ulta, Target, or Walmart.

Almay All the Way

A shocking makeup brand that I have found myself to be very fond of is Almay! They have a very clean makeup line. They are known for a more natural approach. so if you do not like heavy makeup or dark or vibrant colors, then Almay is perfect! Now do not get me wrong, the color is not dull. In fact, with this three eye shadow pallete, you are sure to have gorgeous eyes! The first color is a baby blue that follows with a darker blue and then a gold/brown color! This would go great with someone who has blue or hazel eyes. It is also another great cheap brand that anyone can use. They also have a wide selection of cosmetics that numerous women can choose from.

Luminize

As I was doing my makeup this morning, I wanted some more light under my eyes and above my cheek bones for the Kim Kardashian look. Also, it makes your face look luminous and flawless with the help of a little brightening under the eyes. it wakes your face up and makes the appearance of one’s face not look so dark or tires. Snooping through my roommate/best friend’s makeup that she leaving in my room, I discovered NYC’s Smooth Skin loose face powder. It was so soft and lasted all day! It also helped with any oiliness that I normally develop throughout the day! Also, if I’m not mistaken, they sell NYC at dollar stores.

Hard Candy

Please do not get me started on Hard Candy makeup products. I have never picked up something from their line and took it home to find disappointment. It is an amazing brand and I absolutely adore it. Honestly, it is on the more expensive side of the Walmart aisle but it definitely is worth is. out of all the eyeliners that I have ever had, I have never been more happier than I have with the Walk the Line Liquid eyeliner. The black liquid eyeliner is so intense that it does not smear, or rub off easily. I do recommend it drying before opening your eye all the way. This is one of the only eyeliners that has a brush on the end that I actually like.

Master Blaster

Like I said, I love love love eyeliner! Like bronzers, I tend to explore different brands of eyeliner as well. Going down the makeup aisles of Walmart, I just pick something that looks like a great color and has a good tip on the end of it. I tend to lean towards a sponge, or felt tip because it is easier to apply to my eye. Maybelline New York‘s master duo liquid eyeliner is one that I am glad I picked up! you can either do a thick line or flip the stick and get a think line! Not to mention it is an awesome color of purple! They have many other colors as well. The cool thing is, is that when it comes off, you can just pull it right off! It is a great reasonable price and can found in the Walmart cosmetic section.

Bobbi Brown

Bobbi Brown is one of the most prestigious makeup lines. Due to it’s high quality makeup, there is no wonder that people keep purchasing it! one of my friend’s who does not wear that much makeup, well not as much as I do, was going through an old cabinet and found a Bobbi brown eye shadow palette. Asking me if I wanted it, I without a doubt said of course! Next to the Naked palettes, it is by far one my favorites. It has all neutral colors only consisting of five circles. It ranges from a tan/flesh color to the darkest color of brown. It looks great at night and during the day time for any look.

Fam(ily)

I grew up in a family of mostly girls, excluding my dad. My mom and my older sister are the most amazing woman in my life. They taught me how to be independent and stand up for myself, but most importantly how to be beautiful not only on the outside, but particularly on the inside. They may be crazy cajuns but they also taught me how to cherish who I am and to be nothing but proud. That is exactly what I am. Proud. I am proud to be my mom’s second daughter and my sister’s only baby sister. So let the fleur de lis‘ be set all over the world and Laissez les bon temps rouler.

Let’s Get Naked…Pallete that is.

Naked palletes by Urban Decay are probably one of the most well known pieces of makeup in the industry. They already have three in counting and during the summer the anticipation for the third one sent women of all ages into a heart attack of happiness. These women were literally waiting in lines at the carrier stores and had them on order for weeks in advance.I own just two but the third one, I have to say, definitely is amazing. It is a pink based pallete which means that it has mainly all pink colors. There is twelve slabs of color that are perfect in every single way Naked 3 has impacted my life in the best way possible I encourage everyone to at least try one of these absolutely to die for palletes.

Rockstar

Looking for a great party look? Smokey eye is really the perfect look for any occasion especially for the night time events! Prom, a date, or a night on the town, I recommend the look of the smokey eye. one of the most perfect eye shadows ever is BareMineral’s rockstar. It is a beautiful black dust infused with sparkles for days. It works really well and goes on just like paint when it is wet. It truly makes you look and feel like a rockstar! You can use it as just the black or you can use it as a shadow on top of another black. I prefer to dust it on top of another black, but both ways is beneficial to the smokey look.
